Stories Inspiring Faith Including Our Own

This is a testimony of a very close friend of mine, Susan Yenser (denyyourself20 on Youtube). Susan gave this recently at an FCA meeting at the University of Florida. She’s one of the few people that I can say with all honesty that I’m a better person for knowing.

  5. tallmaninlubbock Said,

    What a blessing …
What a blessing when a young person like yourself can speak in front of a crowd of people and tell them what you did. That took a lot of courage and faith. Oh how we need more like you, Lane, to stand up in these days and be willing to step out of mainstream cultural Christianity. We need more disciples of the REAL Jesus rather than the denominational Jesus-imitation so many have accepted today. Don’t stop sharing your testimony, Lane. Do it on the streets and in every home while you can.

  6. PTWTMinistries Said,

    Ok, I need to …
Ok, I need to clarify where I said, “This is the kind of testimony that could make one wonder if they’re truly saved”. If someone umes that they were saved like Susan illustrated in this video, this may awaken them from their misconceptions about their salvation – the very same ones which Susan repented of.

  7. PTWTMinistries Said,

This has to be one …
This has to be one of the best testimonies I’ve ever heard. It’s one thing for someone to talk about just how vile, immoral, and violent they were (with an air of suspicion with regards to embellishment), and then to hear about someone who was really religious and yet didn’t know Christ.

This is the kind of testimony that could make one wonder if they’re truly saved.

    Very impressive.

    That’s a GREAT witness.
I share a similar testimony of being delivered from cultural Christianity.
It didn’t happen for me until I was 24, though.
But, hey, better late than never right?
    Thanks for posting this.

  18. dennisboren Said,

    The key to my …
The key to my understanding Grace is being thoroughly convinced of the extent of the fall and my PERSONAL total depravity. I had no “will” to come to Christ until He gave the gift of faith and HE gave me the will to believe. It’s all about HIM, not me. As John the Baptist said, “I must decrease and He must increase”. Amen.

  19. pungasai Said,

    One day, after two …
One day, after two years of sin and rebellion, the Lord woke me up from my false faith. I was finally convicted IN MY HEART not just profess on my lips… and belive in my mind that I AM A SINNER! i was broken…kneeled before God and ask for forgiveness. Things had been different ever since.

My faith is no longer dead. it is alive and as much as i still sin…the Lord continue to mould me into his likeness. My view of life changed…my intentions for service changed.

  20. pungasai Said,

    i identify with you …
i identify with you completely. I was born in a christian family and i live a christian life…doing christian things and does not do drugs, have sex or curse. But at a personal level, my faith stayed at the mind. I know the things i should do… but it never really hit me straight to the heart that these are things i should do because I love jesus. I did/did not do certain things because that is what a christian should do…NOT BECAUSE I really fear and Love God.

  21. ocpud2999 Said,

    I love this video. …
I love this video. Everytime I struggle with sin this video helps me expose that sin. Between her testimony and Paul Washer’s messages The Lord uses thier videos to help me strengthen my walk with the lord. Thank you Lane.

  22. vasiliosrigos Said,

    I must agree so …
I must agree so strongly with this statement.I WAS CALLED AND SAVED ABOUT TWO YEARS AGO.My desire to folow Gods laws grows each and every day since I was saved. When I sin now willing or unwilling I repent instantly. The hurt inside is so hurtful I again begin to feel unworthy of Gods grace towards me. May God Bless you and all your followers. a chosen on

  23. Hopefl1 Said,

    I agree with that …
    I agree with that 100%.

  24. LaneCh Said,

    Believers are saved …
Believers are saved from God’s wrath that is to come.

  25. Hopefl1 Said,

    Hasn’t the Holy …
Hasn’t the Holy Spirit or that still small voice been in each of us from birth? The problem in my opinion is that we do not heed to that voice but run from it doing things are own way.
